How it works


We offer you the izySim cloud service, to which you can connect your control system. The cloud hosts a model-based process emulator. Information exchange with the cloud is limited only by the signals that the ACS connects to sensors and actuators. Confidential information about the ACS device, management methods, internal data (process KPI, commercial information) is not transferred to the cloud.

Input data

To create a model, we need a little from you:

  • Functional Diagram (Process & Instrumentation Diagram)
  • List of I/O signals (with addresses in the controller)
  • List of devices (valves, pumps, sensors,...)
  • Some values of measured variables (data scenarios)
  • The control system must have an OPC UA interface

To calculate thermodynamic quantities, it is sufficient to know the chemical composition of the initial media (air, water, methane, ...) and their temperatures

Architecture

izySim consists of:

  • GraphBuilder - model creation environment
  • Shared Variables Engine (SVE) - subsystem for data exchange between izySim and tags in the control system
  • Process Engine (PE) - a subsystem for calculating the values ​​of the technological process and devices. Interacts with SVE.
  • Runtime (Implemented in the cloud, accessed via VPN and Web interface)
